Larry Johnson, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on April 2, 1955, Larry lived a life filled with love, dedication, and unwavering support for his family and community.
Larry will be deeply missed by his devoted wife, Ann Johnson; his children, Jessica, Andrew, and Garrett Johnson; and his stepdaughters, Melissa Wall and Carolyn Jackson. He leaves behind a legacy of love that extends to his cherished grandchildren: Alaina, Quinn and Drew Johnson and Penelope and Paisley Johnson, Hazel and Gracelynn Jackson, and Tilghman Wall. Their memories of him will forever be treasured.
A skilled electrician, Larry dedicated many years to public service, retiring from the Bureau of Engraving and Printing after a distinguished career with the government. Beyond his professional achievements, Larry found immense joy in coaching and volunteering for his children's many sporting endeavors. His dedication to his family extended beyond the field, shaping their lives with his love, support, and guidance.
Larry possessed a quiet strength and a generous spirit. He was a man of simple pleasures, finding joy in his family, his love of the Washington Redskins, and his admiration for the iconic John Wayne. His fun loving personality touched the lives of all who knew him.
Larry's memory will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind. He will be remembered not only for his accomplishments but also for the warmth, and love he provided to his family and friends. He will be deeply missed.
A celebration of Larry's life will be held on Saturday, April 26th, at 3:00 PM at the American Legion, located at 1905 Crownsville Road, Annapolis, MD 21401. All who knew and loved Larry are welcome to attend and share memories of this exceptional man.

Ann, I was so very sorry to hear of the passing of your beloved husband, Larry. I remember well when you met Larry while riding a commuter bus to USDA in D.C. I was so happy when you two started dating and then eventually got married. I loved the way he cared for you, how he put a smile on your face, how he cherished you and put a twinkle in your eyes. I knew you found yourself a good man to spend your life with. I only wish that I had kept in touch with you and Larry. You will always have all your wonderful memories and he will be dearly missed my many and although he is gone, he will not be forgotten and will always will be in your thoughts and heart. I will pray for the repose of his soul and for your entire family as you grieve the loss of your beloved Larry.
