Larry Earl Kline, beloved child of God, age 82, of Ionia, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, in Cameron, Arizona. He was born on September 9, 1943, in Ionia, Michigan, to John and Esther (Badder) Kline.

Larry humbly acknowledged that he was a sinner saved by grace, and his family takes comfort in the hope of being reunited with him one day.

A man of deep faith, Larry had a passion for studying God's Word. He dearly loved his wife and family, cherishing every moment spent with them. After retiring from the U.S. Postal Service, he embraced a variety of interests including running, traveling, deer hunting, building, birdwatching, and tending to his orchard. He also had a lifelong fascination with astronomy.

Larry proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He was a devoted and active member of Faith Bible Baptist Church in Lake Odessa, where he lived out his faith with dedication and love.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara of Lyons; children, Nathan (Melissa) Kline of Jenison, Melinda (Patrick) Rickert of Ionia, Stephen Kline (Sara Brooks) of Ionia, Casey (Sarah) Kline of West Branch; brother, Richard Kline of Dimondale; sister, Joyce (Milton) Powers of Arizona; grandchildren, Justin Rickert, Dylann (Josh) Vreman, Rylee Kline, Trevor (Brooklynn) Rickert, Calah Kline, Peytonn Kline, Christian Kline, Andrew Kline, Eden Kline, Shiloh Kline and Joel Kline; several nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, John and Esther; wife, Beatrice Kline; siblings, Robert Kline, William Kline, David Kline, Joan Kline, and Raymond Kline; and sister-in-law, Barbara Kline.

A Memorial Service will be held at 5:30PM, Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Faith Bible Baptist Church in Lake Odessa. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service (4:30-5:30PM). Arrangements in care of Lake Funeral Home of Ionia. Memorial Donations may be made to the Faith Bible Baptist Church.
