Larry M. Large

It is with great sadness that the family of Lawrence M. Large announce his passing on Saturday, February 22, 2025 on his 84th birthday. Larry will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 15 years, Linda; his beloved children, Lawrence, Jr. and wife Maria of Howell, NJ, Scott and wife Helen of Bethel, ME and Todd and wife Jackie of Dunedin, FL & Otto, NC; and his cherished granddaughter, Ashley, of Howell, NJ. Larry is pre-deceased by his son, Steven, his parents, William and Doris, and by his brother, William.
Larry was born and raised in West Orange, NJ and was a graduate of West Orange High School. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1961 during the Cuban Missile Crisis and he served his country for four years. He worked throughout his life as a project manager for many land developments in North Jersey, and retired as a lodging manager from Fort Monmouth. He deeply loved golfing, skiing and his home in Vermont, and cherished his adopted Vermont dog, Winston.
The family would like to thank Dr. Tiesi and the staff at the ICU at Jersey Shore Medical Center for their care and compassion.
Family and friends may gather Friday, February 28, 2025 at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue in Red Bank, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Private cremation services will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Larry's memory to the American Cancer Society.
