Larry Charles Laurienti, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2025, just shy of his 87th birthday, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on September 16, 1938, Larry lived a life defined by devotion—to his family, his friends, and the values he held dear. He was a dedicated son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend whose warmth and wisdom touched all who knew him.
Larry was preceded in death by his beloved wife Barbara, who passed on March 7, 2021. Their enduring love and partnership were a source of strength and inspiration to their family. He is survived by his loving children: daughter Laraine Irvin and her husband Christopher Irvin, son Michael Laurienti, and daughter Sandra Laurienti and her husband Dean Griess. Larry was a proud grandfather to Molly Faragalla and her husband Danny Faragalla, Parker Irvin, Payton Irvin and his wife Holly Irvin, Lauren Laurienti, Ramsey Laurienti, and Ryker Laurienti. He was also blessed with two great-grandchildren, Eden Faragalla and Noah Faragalla, who brought him immense joy in his later years.
Larry’s legacy is one of kindness, quiet strength, and unwavering love. He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his deep sense of responsibility, and the countless ways he supported and uplifted those around him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
The nightly ceremony in Washington, D.C. will be dedicated in honor of your loved one on the day of your choosing.
