Larry Mull Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Click Funeral Home - Lenoir City on Sep. 16, 2024.
Larry James Mull age 80 of Lenoir City passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. Larry was a unique and special person who loved his Lord, his family and friends, life and lots of attention. He never met anyone he didn't like and vice versa. Larry was adored by all who knew him and was a joy to be around. Larry made the world a brighter place and could brighten your day with his beautiful smile. He will be missed and joyfully remembered. Larry was a member of First Church of God. He loved his church family very much. Larry was very fortunate to have a caregiver who gave him plenty of love and attention like his Mother. From the first time he was introduced to Angela McKenzie, he called her "Angel." She was "Angel" from then on. Angela was a God-send to our family. She has treated all of us like family and we could never have found a more compassionate and giving caregiver and companion for Larry.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, Burton Lamar Mull; mother, Ola Grove Mull; brother-in-law, Richard Pickell, and nephew, Travis Pickell. Survived by his sisters, Jean Pickell and Gaye Lay (Ken); nephews Brent Lay, Wesley Pickell (Ashley), Blake Lay (Sally); his nephews wife, Kristy Pickell; great nephews, Paxton Lay, Dacotah Pickell, Caleb Pickell, Cason Pickell, and great nieces, Montana Hood and Reilly Vaughn.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, September18th at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Linda Parton officiating. Family and friends will gather at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the Loudon County Memorial Gardens for graveside services with Rev. Rod Garrett officiating. Click Funeral Home, 109 Walnut Street, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.

From the time we were in elementary school, the thing I will always remember about Larry is his sweet, beaming smile. He was a dear person, and it always made me happy when I would happen to see him around town. That was his special gift.
