Mr. Larry Dee Perkins, 78, husband of Rebecca Ann Shirley Perkins, went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, July 8, 2023.
Born in Florence, SC, a son of the late Leonard Perkins and the late Lovera Ester Miller Perkins, Mr. Perkins was the owner and operator of L&R Precision Tool, Inc., formerly taught machine tool and drafting at Greenville Technical College, was a Mason and of the Baptist faith. He was a hard working man that loved his family, and will be dearly missed by all that loved and knew him.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of thirty-nine years, are his two sons, Larry Bradley Perkins of Liberty, and Chadwick Ryan Perkins of Greenville; his two daughters, Melinda Ashley McCall of Williamston, and Shana McRae Perkins of Central; a brother, Rev. Harry Perkins (Lynn) of Lexington, NC; a sister, Kathy Page (Tommy) of Easley; four grandchildren, Tyler McCall, Caden Perkins, Caimbrie Perkins, and Ethan Perkins; and three great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Perkins was predeceased by a brother, McDavid Perkins; and a sister, Gladys Carolyn Baldwin.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, July 13, 2023 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family is at the home of Jimmy and Paula Smith, 103 Harewood Court, Easley, SC 29642.
