Larry James Porche, Jr., age 69, a native and resident of Houma, La., passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025.
Larry is survived by his wife, Catina LeBoeuf; his son, Hunter Porche (Cassie); his grandchildren, Willa and Tripp, and a chosen grandchild, Vivian Boudreaux; his sisters, Monica Vedros and Melissa Hardeman (Steve); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in passing by his parents, Larry James Porche, Sr. and Daisy Boudreaux Porche; his brother-in-law, Leroy Vedros; and nephew, Hayden Hardeman.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation in honor of Larry on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Church beginning at 9:00a.m. until the Funeral Mass at 11:00a.m. Larry will be laid to rest in the church cemetery immediately following the Funeral Mass.
Larry was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed gardening, working in his koi pond, spending time in nature and spending time with his grandchildren. Larry was a kind soul who never met a stranger. He left an impression on many people and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
