It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Larry Ashley Reihl, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Larry was born on February 14, 1948, in South Bend, Indiana, to the late Perry Reihl and Betty Reid, and departed this life on May 25, 2025, in Niles, Michigan, at the age of 77.
Larry was a dedicated family man, whose love for his wife Dora, whom he married on March 9, 1968, was unwavering. He is survived by his cherished sons, Kevin and Sam Reihl; his adored grandsons, Jacob and Joseph Reihl; as well as his step-brother Bill Reid and step-sister Melody Reid. Family was of utmost importance to Larry, and he exemplified generosity in every aspect of his life.
An honorable Navy Veteran, Larry's commitment to service extended beyond his time in the military. He had a successful career as a car dealer, where his charisma and integrity left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Larry found joy in the great outdoors, particularly through fishing and hunting. He embraced the beauty of nature, spending countless hours outside, which brought him immense satisfaction and peace.
No services will be held at this time.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
Larry Ashley Reihl will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Dora, so sorry to hear of Larry's passing. I have such fond memories of my time spent with Larry. He was my room mate in college at Ferris State. After our first year we went to Cocao Beach, Florida in his 1955 T-bird (without a spare tire) to see his mother. He also took me on a charter boat out into the ocean to catch some Red Snapper. I remember going to see Larry in the hospital after his heart surgery. May the Lord continue to give you strength as you go through this time of bereavement.
Sincerely, Darrel Elms
