Larry Jerral Reynolds passed away on February 23rd, 2024 at the age of 84. Mr. Reynolds was born in Smith County to the late Robert and Margaret Reynolds. He is also proceeded in death by his beloved bride of 48 years, Donna Lou Prince Reynolds.
His legacy will be continued by his son, Heath (Cindy) Reynolds of Castalian Springs; his daughter, Michelle (RC) Simmons of Gallatin; his three granddaughters, Ashley (Jeff) Glass of Hendersonville, Whitney Holifield (fiancée, Bryan Judd) of Lebanon, Tyler (Rodriguez) Turner of Gallatin; as well as six great grandchildren; Jarrett Glass, Jacob Holifield, Ayden Weiss, Jordan Glass, Jonah Holifield and Mya Weiss.
Mr. Reynolds was a long-time member of College Heights Baptist Church and was a believer in Jesus Christ.
As a young man, he served in the United States Air Force for four years, as an Aircraft Technician and during that time he saw a great deal of the world. He then worked on the farm of Mr. Jim Rainey in Gallatin for 8 years until ultimately retiring in 2012.
Though Mr. Reynolds lived a very long and full life, at his core he was a simple country boy, who loved to be outside mowing his grass and growing things in the garden. His family will be hard pressed to ever smell freshly cut grass without thinking of him.
Service for Mr. Reynolds will be held at Sellars Family Hermitage Funeral Home in Gallatin, TN. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 29th from 3:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Friday, March 1st from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Funeral service will be held, Friday March 1st at 11:00 a.m. at Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin. Interment will follow the service at Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville, Tennessee, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Larry was our neighbor 3 doors down. He was always a friendly individual to us. In his later years he began driving his lawnmower down across our back yard and would stop and visit with Marietta and I. We will miss the sound of the lawnmower coming as the weather warms up. We shall meet again someday.
Blessings to the family
