Larry Rief Obituary
Larry L. Rief, age 79, passed away at his home on January 1, 2026.
He was born May 20, 1946, to the late Robert and Martha (Patience) Rief in Council Bluffs, IA. Larry graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and retired from Ready Mixed Concrete. He was a member of Hazel Dell United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cindy Rief; brother, Gerald Rief; infant brother, David.
Larry is survived by his daughters, Wendy Rief and Jenny Waters (James Cizik); brothers, Duane Rief (Kathy) and Terry Rief (Marty); sister-in-law, Connie Rief; grandchildren, Taylor Waters and Dylan Waters; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 07, 2026. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 7, 2026. Memorials are suggested to Pottawattamie County Conservation, Hazel Dell United Methodist Church, or Underwood Fire and Rescue.
