Larry A. Robertson, 81 of Ashland passed away on Monday evening, July 7, 2025 in Mansfield, Ohio following a brief illness.
He was born on March 7, 1944 in Lodi, the son of the late Raymond and Christine (nee Daron) Robertson.
Larry graduated from New London High School, Class of 1961.
He married the love of his life, the former Alma Charlene Frederick on March 21, 1964 in the New London United Methodist Church. The newlyweds moved to the Pacific Northwest and made their home in Oregon for more than 7 years, where Larry worked in roadway construction.
They returned to Ashland County in 1971 where Larry became a partner in C&F Construction and retired in 2001.
He was a devoted member of the United Methodist Church in Savannah, where he served as a trustee. One of his greatest loves was working on the church building and keeping it maintained. His talents were well received by both the congregation and his friends. Larry was also a member of the Savannah Lions Club.
Larry enjoyed both restoring and collecting antique cars, especially his 1937 Chevy, his El Camino, and Corvette. He and Char showed many of their treasures at local car shows both in Ashland and Savannah.
