Larry Edison Rucker, 82,of Saint Matthews, S.C., passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025, peacefully at home, surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Sally Rucker.
Larry was born in Saint Matthews, the son of the late Roy J. Rucker and Harriett Geiger Rucker. He was a graduate of Saint Matthews H.S., and became an Accountant. Larry was a member of Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, basketball, watching his favorite show ,The Lone Ranger, and spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 54 years; two daughters, Tammy Robinson and Heidi Rucker; one sister Shirley Kizer, two brothers, Rufus Rucker and James (Dent) Rucker; four grandchildren, Cassidy Robinson, Shania Padgett (Dee), Jared Robinson, and Kaivan Robinson; two great grandchildren, Isaiah Funderburg and Leah Funderburg, and a number of Nieces and Nephews.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers, money ( Donations) sent to his wife Sally Rucker to help with the cost of his Cremation at:
