Born on March 8, 1946, in Oglethorpe, Georgia, Peggy spent her life creating and nurturing a deep sense of community and family.Peggy worked in the textile manufacturing industry, dedicating her career to the sewing plant, where she was admired for her exceptional skill and diligence. While her educational journey concluded in the 9th to 12th grade without a diploma, her life experiences reflected the wisdom and strength of character that inspired those around her.
She is survived by her beloved sister, Pamela Smith, who remains a testament to the bond they shared throughout life.Following her wishes,
Peggy will be cremated, with services taking place on June 27, 2025, at 8:35 AM. The disposition ceremony will be held at 2274 Eutaw Road, Holly Hill, SC, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and the indelible mark she left on their lives.In this time of grief, we invite all who knew Peggy Lou Jones to celebrate her life and the joy she brought to those around her.
