Larry Russell Scott, age 76, of Palmer, Texas, passed away on November 7, 2025. He was the devoted husband of Diane Scott, with whom he shared many loving years.
Born on June 25, 1949, in Little Rock, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Larry and Betty Scott. Mr. Scott honorably served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Following his service, he worked as a truck driver and later as an entrepreneur. Mr. Scott had a passion for working on cars, trucks, and tractors. He found great peace in spending time on his tractor, mowing the grass and enjoying the outdoors. A talented fiddle player, he delighted in sharing his music with family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Diane Scott; his sister, Susie Scott; his son, Larry Scott and wife Melissa; his daughters, Mandi Manley and husband Michael, and Loretta Janek and husband Dustin; and his stepdaughter, Dana Tuminello and husband John. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren Lexie, Hunter, Kamden, Gracy, Tyler, Dakota, Keeley, Duke, Amanda, and Haley. Great-grandchildren Lathem, River, Aspyn, Kyler, Scottie, Cooper, Callie, and Jase. Also, many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will miss him greatly. He is preceded in death by his Father and Mother Larry and Betty Scott; and brother Ricky Scott
