In his spare time, he loved tournament fishing. Larry and Mary traveled to Texas where they would spend countless hours fishing, and traveled to Brazil to go Peacock Bass fishing. He was the winner of the American Royal BBQ cook-off and truly enjoyed playing his guitar.
