Larry W. Tull, 82, of Silerton, died Monday, December 23, 2024, at Tennessee State Veterans Home in Humboldt. Born October 9, 1942, he is the son of the late George Barton and Elida Marguarite Harden Tull. He was a Baptist Pastor. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was a member of the V.F.W.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday at Piney Grove Baptist Church in Henderson with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday beginning at 11:00 a.m. until service time.
Mike Hatch, Christopher Lee Mehr, Johnathan Mehr, Patrick Tull, James Tull, Doughlas W. Tull and Joe Harrison will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be his brother, R. Dean Dopson.
He is survived by four daughters, Elizabeth Anne Tricky, Joanna Severn, Regina Lynn Turney, all of Kansas; Cassandra Reeder of Friendship one son, Patrick Tull of Oklahoma City, OK; two sisters, Susie DeBerard of Wyoming, Carol Jean Ellerbrook of St. Louis, MO; two brothers, R. Dean Dopson of Texas, Bart Tull of Wyoming; seventeen grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn Beckham Tull; along with four brothers and sisters.
The family requests memorials be directed to Wounded Warrior Project, woundedwarriorproject.org or West Tennessee Bluebird, c/o Jackson Madison County Hospital, 620 Skyline Drive, Jackson, TN.
