Larry Vassey Obituary
Larry Steve Vassey, 79, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday morning, September 23, 2024. Born March 22, 1945, in Rutherfordton, NC, he was a son of the late Calvin Boyd and Meomier Canady Vassey. Steve was retired from Freeman Gas Company after 44 years of service and was of the Baptist faith.
Along with his parents, Steve was predeceased by his brother, Boyd Vassey and his sister, Jackie Lindsey.
Per Steve’s wishes, there will be no formal services. He will be laid to rest in Eternal Hills Memorial Park in Forest City, NC.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
