Larry Keith Walker, age 73, passed away peacefully at his home in Cumming, Georgia, on October 7, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born in California and raised in Blue Ridge, Georgia, Larry-affectionately known as "The Bird"-lived a life full of love, laughter, and adventure. He began his family with Sandra Parris Walker in Blue Ridge before moving to Mableton and eventually settling in Cumming in 1980. Larry began his long career with AT&T in 1973, where he not only found professional fulfillment but also formed lifelong friendships. He retired in October 2003 after 30 years of dedicated service. In 1996, Larry met the love of his later life, Vicky Richards. Their bond was unshakable, and they married in 2006, spending nearly two decades together filled with deep love and countless memories. Larry had a strong and steady faith in God, which carried him through life's many challenges. He was a man who loved deeply and wholeheartedly-always ready with a story, a smile, or a helping hand. He was the center of his family and brought joy to all who knew him.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, John and Margaret Walker; his former wife, Sandra Parris Walker; his sons, Robert and Joseph Walker; granddaughter, Christian (C.J.) Walker, and son-in-law, Christopher Daniel.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Vicky Richards Walker; his children: Kim Daniel (Chris Reid), Kristal Puckett (Chris Puckett), Danny Walker (Kayla Crowe), Brian Armbrust (James Oliver-Clifner), and Michael Palmour (Taryn Palmour); and by his cherished grandchildren: Raven Daniel, McCoy Daniel (Kaysie McGuinness), Chandler Mahoney (Parker Mahoney), Pyper Mahoney (Johnny Fevola), Felicity Mahoney, Phoebe Mahoney, Kristina Puckett, Rian Puckett, Brianna Puckett, Maverick Puckett, and Aurum Armbrust. Larry also leaves behind his great-grandchildren: Molly Daniel, Melanie Barnes, Clementine Puckett, and Joey Mahoney. He is survived by his siblings: Leonard Walker, John Walker, David Walker, Marlene Godfrey, and Kevin Walker, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends who loved him like family.

Larry lived his life with passion and a sense of adventure on his motorcycle or antique cars-always welcoming others to join him on the journey. His laughter, stories, and unconditional love will echo in the hearts of those he leaves behind. Though he will be missed beyond measure here on earth, we find comfort in knowing Larry is rejoicing in Heaven, reunited with loved ones and held in God's eternal embrace.

Services to honor the life of Mr. Larry Walker will be on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 2:00 PM in the Chastain Memorial Park Cemetery in Blue Ridge. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Saturday from 12:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and again on Sunday from 9:00 AM until the time of the service.
