It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Susan Hancock Robinson, who departed this life on October 5, 2025, at the age of 77.
Susan’s life was filled by her many passions. She was an avid supporter of the Georgia Bulldogs, a lifelong lover of horses, and found joy in reading, cross stitching, and spending time with her dogs. Her heart was most at peace in the mountains, where she found solace.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Alva Robinson Sr., with whom she shared a lifetime of partnership.
Susan is survived by her son, Johnny Robinson, and his three children: Sam Robinson, Belle Robinson, and John Eley Robinson; and by her daughter, Christi Rodemoyer, and son-in-law Steve Rodemoyer, along with their daughters: Britony Rodemoyer, Sarah Rodemoyer, and Kaylee Rodemoyer.
She is also survived by her brother, Steve Hancock, and his wife Janet, and her sister, Laura Hancock Osiecki, and her husband Paul, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Susan’s memory to a local animal shelter.
