It is indeed, with a heavy heart, that I have just found out about the passing of one of my mentors, Dr. Larry Walters.
I worked for Dr. Walters in Girard, Kansas the summer of 1971 between my sophomore and junior years in high school.
I did not know that Dr. Walters lived in the Albuquerque area. I have trained chiropractic physicians in New Mexico for over 12 years now in Injections and Pharmacotherapy. I would have loved to have visited and seen my old friend and mentor, but did not know he was in the Albuquerque area.
I have practiced in Tulsa, Oklahoma for 41 years now.
I send the family my condolences and heart felt thanks for sharing this man with me for a very important segment of my life.

We offer our condolences to the Walters Family. Dr. Larry will be greatly missed. He was so kind and generous sharing his knowledge of healing and health that helped so many through the years. The souls that he touched will forever be grateful. We were honored to know Larry not only as a Doctor but as a friend. Meeting Dr. Larry and Darlene through our love of football and the Kansas City Chiefs we became friends. We have awesome memories of our trips to watch the Chiefs play. And that carried over to being patients of his and being healed through his hands and knowledge. We got to know Larry's wonderful family and are blessed they are in our lives today. Rest in Peace and Godspeed.
