Larry Warner Obituary
He was born November 6, 1965, in Carlisle to Jonietta E. (Hinkle) Warner of Carlisle and the late Larry L. Warner Sr.
Larry was a graduate of Boiling Springs High School with the class of 1984. He studied diesel mechanics at Cumberland-Perry Area Vocational Technical School. Larry was a gifted mechanic who was co-owner of Christopher and Warner Automotive in Boiling Springs. He was a member of the Drifters Car Club in Newville, a collector of street rods, and a collector of Cushman motor scooters. Larry was a snowmobile racer and a nationally ranked vintage hare scramble and vintage motocross rider. He was the former owner of Larry's Sub Shop in Mt. Holly Springs. Larry loved animals and was especially fond of boxers and baby goats. He loved deer hunting and enjoyed taking his son hunting with him every year. Larry attended Celebration Community Church in Dillsburg with his wife.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of 28 ½ years, Anna M. Warner of Gardners; one son, Glen R. O. Warner of Boiling Springs; one brother, Kyle M. (wife Joelle) Warner of Kane; one sister, Danielle L. (husband Jeremy) Gray of Boiling Springs; one niece, Amelia Gray; one nephew, Wyatt Gray; and one foster-brother, Samuel (wife Janelle) Graham of Carlisle.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at Celebration Community Church, 1048 South Mountain Road Dillsburg, PA 17019 with Pastor Mike Hammer and Rev. Richard Reese co-officiating. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family at Letort Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at church.
