Larry Dean Wesson, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025, at the age of 69 in Rowlett, TX. Born on January 16, 1956, in Wichita Falls, TX, Larry lived a life marked by devotion to his loved ones.
Larry's journey began as the beloved son of Gaylen and Helen Wesson, who predeceased him, as did his daughter Tammy Wesson, sister Toni Jean O'Donnell, and his first wife, Marjorie Wesson. His life's story grew richer with the love and companionship of his wife of 8 years, Sabrina Wesson. Together, they shared a bond built on mutual respect and deep affection.
A dedicated family man, Larry found his greatest joy and pride in his children and grandchildren. He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Melinda Wesson, his sons, Alexander and Christopher Grant, and his grandsons, Jeffery and Ashton Whitson, who will miss his guidance and unwavering support. He is also survived by his brother, Gaylen Wesson.
Larry's professional life was characterized by his leadership and integrity as the manager of Signature Towing Company. His colleagues respected him for his fairness and his commitment to excellence in all his endeavors. He was a man who led by example and inspired those around him to strive for their best.
Beyond his professional contributions, Larry was a man of diverse interests. His love for the thrill of dirt racing was more than a hobby; it was a passion that brought him immense joy and excitement. He also enjoyed watching football and NASCAR or playing a spirited round of air hockey. His home was a haven of entertainment, laughter, and love.
As we bid farewell to Larry Dean Wesson, we hold tight to the lessons he taught us through his example: to cherish family, to pursue our passions with zeal, and to live each day with a loving heart. His memory will forever be a part of the lives he so profoundly impacted.
