Larryl Glenn Gatewood was born on June 25, 1977, to the late Larry Gatewood and the late Erma Whitfield in Little Rock, Arkansas. Larryl transitioned at his residence on February 28, 2025, where he was surrounded by his children and loved ones!
Throughout his adolescence, he attended church at Sunlight C.O.G.I.C., where he became a member and accepted Christ at an early age. As an adult, he became a member of Devine Faith Fellowship and Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church; he also attended El Dorado High School.
Later in life, Larryl was a jack of all trades, he would detail your car, sell you your favorite electronics and fragrances, and even a delicious meal! He enjoyed fishing, grilling, and most definitely spending time with his children and grandchildren; Larryl was the life of the party, if he didn't do anything else he kept his family together.
He was preceded in death by both his parents, his paternal and maternal grandparents, his niece Ermeshale Finley, and his nephew Ke'won Jones, sr.
He leaves to cherish his God Parents Rev. Christopher Howard and Carletta Howard of Eldorado AR. Children Leanna (Jaqualoyn) Willis of Eldorado AR, Justin (Rolonda) Clary of Little Rock AR, Miranda Anderson of El Dorado AR; Sharneecia (Antonio) Gatewood of Eldorado AR; Chloe Gatewood of Eldorado AR; Lorenzo Gatewood of Eldorado AR, Shyrayle Gatewood of Eldorado AR and Azaylen Lee of Eldorado AR. 4 sisters Latoya (Lonnie)Traylor of Eldorado AR, Shuntrice (Rayvious) Hughes, Dianna (Demetric) Mayberry of Little Rock AR, and Dominique Perkins of Eldorado AR. 4 brothers Robert (Tasha) Jackson of Little Rock AR, Marcus Ford, Larry Gatewood Jr, and Marlon Moses. One special niece, Lonniesha Traylor. special friend, Sarah Hart. A host of Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Last but certainly not least, twenty grandchildren who were his world.
