MS. Lashon Lavon Walker

MS. LASHON LAVON WALKER, age 44, of 431 Kirkland Road-Apartment #3214, Covington, GA passed away on Sunday, April 6th, 2024, at the Piedmont Newton Hospital in Covington, GA. FREEMAN FUNERAL HOME, WRENS in charge.
Ms. LaShon Lavon Walker affectionately known as "Shon" entered this world on Wednesday, November 19, 1980. She was born to the parentage of Mary Ann Wilson and Pressley Walker in Augusta, GA. LaShon departed this earthly life on Sunday, April 6, 2025, while at the Piedmont Newton Hospital in Covington, GA.
Shon was raised in Jefferson County, GA, and attended the public school system of Jefferson County, GA. She graduated from the Jefferson County High School with the Class of 2000. Sometime after graduating, Shon moved to Covington, GA where she was gainfully employed with Publix, an American supermarket chain, as a Cashier.
Our dearly beloved LaShon Lavon Walker was known to be "the life of the party", and that she truly was. She could light up any dark room from a mile away. Because of her big heart, she was willing to take anybody in when they needed a helping hand. Shon was loved by many. She will be truly missed. From her dancing to her loudmouth, always yelling out "period pooh", Shon was most definitely a fighter. Not only was Shon a strong person, but she was also very brave. Such a great soul to known. It breaks our hearts that she's gone too soon, but she will always be remembered with a big smile and so much love.
Years of special moments and the sweetest of dear memories will be cherished by those she leaves to mourn her passing: two loving sons, Mar'Kilius S. King and Ma'Leik R. King, both of Atlanta, GA; a loving mother, Mary Ann Wilson of Wrens, GA; a loving father, Pressley Walker of Wrens, GA; a goddaughter, Kylah Potter of Atlanta, GA; a special grandmother whom she loved dearly, Sarah "Mama" Walker of Thomson, GA; two sisters, Tywanda (Tory)King of Wrens, GA and Shequeta Walker of Thomson, GA; one brother, Terrell Walker of Wrens, GA; four aunts, Laverne Heggs of Louisville, GA, Louise Walker of Stapleton, GA, Christine Dennis of Stone Mountain, GA, Sheila Wilson of Thomson, GA; two uncles, Melvin (Gloria) Wilson of Thomson, GA and Stanford Wilson (Annette Atkins) of Augusta, GA;
two nieces, Ja'Kayla S. Roland and Ri'Khia M. Hadden, both of Thomson, GA; two nephews, Christe Scott of Wrens, GA and TahKwon King of Dallas, TX; a host of cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends from near and far.
