Latanya White, 57, a resident of Lindenhurst, IL, passed away October 17, 2025 at her home in Lindenhurst, IL. She was born August 24, 1968 in Chicago, IL to Roosevelt and Pernetha Jones.
Latanya is survived by her children Sheila (Dave) Jones, Dwight Burns, and Jasmine (Joseph) Crocker, her mother Pernetha Streeter, her grandchildren Carlton, Madison, Trejure, Tristin, Blessyn, Zahier, Ziara, Dwight Jr., Olivia, Trinity, Serenity, and Journi, her niece/sister Katina Battie, her nieces Shekelia Battie, Pernetha Battie, Keyonna Battie, her nephew Ernest Battie, and her cousins Tirina Jones and Kenneth Jones. She was preceded in death by her father Roosevelt Jones, her step-father Otis Streeter, and her sister Sheree Battie.
A visitation and funeral service are scheduled for Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030 from 3:00pm until 4:00pm with the funeral service commencing at 4:00pm. Interment will be held privately.
