Latasha Denise Adams Ellis was born on August 3, 1974, in Paterson, New Jersey. She was the daughter of the late Rosemary Adams and the late Clifton Harrison. She received her early education at School 18 and later attended Eastside High School.
Latasha spent most of her life in Paterson before making Georgia her home. She faithfully served as a caregiver and CAN certified nursing assistant in various healthcare facilities and hospitals throughout Georgia for many years. Her compassion and dedication touched countless lives, both personally and professionally.
Latasha's bright smile and loving spirit could light up any room. Her infectious personality drew people in, and her favorite greetings-"Hola, chica," "Hey family," "you know us Adams girls" and "I love my sisters"-will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew her. She had a deep love for traveling, dancing, music, and fashion, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends, especially during her visits back home. Above all, her pride and joy was her beloved son, Jonathan.
She was preceded in death by her mother; Rosemary Adams, her father; Clifton Harrison and her maternal grandparents; Audroleroy and Sallie E. Adams and paternal grandfather; Harold Harrison.
On Sunday, July 13, 2025, Latasha tragically transitioned from this life.
Latasha's beautiful life will be cherished by her son; Jonathan C. Ellis of West Virginia, and his father; Curtis Ellis, her sisters; Felicia Adams and Adrianna Adams of Paterson, NJ, and Maureen Harrison of Pennsylvania, her brother; Chaz Harrison of Paterson, her aunts; Theresa Adams, Angela Adams-White, Etta Adams, and her birthday twin; Audrey Adams, her uncles; Felix Adams and Audroleroy Adams, Jr. and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
Latasha will forever be remembered for her love, laughter, and light-a spirit that will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone she touched.
