Margaret Hendley

Margaret Ann Hendley made her grand entrance with grace and a spirit that danced with laughter and wisdom on June 2, 1942 in Pulaski, Georgia. She was the beloved daughter of Emory and Bertha Haliburton Hendley.
Margaret was educated in the Pulaski County Schools, and later relocated to Passaic, New Jersey where she became employed at Rosa Arts until her retirement.
She was a member of Mt. Moriah Church-Passaic.
Margaret loved her family and friends; they were her biggest passions. Her annual cookouts, dancing and most importantly spending time with her family were some of the things she loved the most. She always had the ability to make anyone smile by dancing and enjoying life.
On Friday October 3, 2025, Margaret peacefully departed this life in St. Mary's Hospital- Passaic, at the tender age of 83.
She was preceded in death by her two sons; George Talib Hendley, and Howard Ray Miller, parents; Emory and Bertha Haliburton Hendley; and sister; Ida Pearl Bristle.
Margaret is survived by her brother; Eddie J.Hendley of Macon, GA; sister; Sadie L. Muff of Macon, GA; grandchildren; Nyesha (Nashawn) of Atlanta, GA, KaRonn Mosley, ShaRonn Mosley, LaRonn (Kavarsiea) Mosley all of Norfolk, VA; eight great grandchildren; a special friend, Henry Durrell of Passaic NJ, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
