LATISHA'S LIFE STORY: Latisha, known as Tish or Tisha, was born on May 30, 1981, to both late Tommy Lee James and Faustine Stoudemire
Underwood. She was the mother of two amazing sons: Decartez L. Stoudemire (Tamara Diamond Allen) and Justin J. Murphy. She was the grandmother to Jalirah I. and Aubree
L. Stoudemire. She was the wife to her wonderful husband Judge Murphy and stepmom to lovely stepchildren: TeNiya, Kaden, Trayvon, Kayveon, Terrance Jr "TJ" Cash. She was
the stepdaughter to RL Underwood Sr., God daughter to late John Crews, both late AB and Ocie Tarver. She is preceded in death with a lot of family members that's
why she started searching on ancestory.com to learn more about her family roots. She loved arts and crafts especially with children because she helped in a lot of vacation bible
school activities at her home church Shiloh MB under the leadership of Rev. James McBride and visit church New Hope and when she was a member of Pleasant Sabine after
marrying Judge on April 2nd, 2005. Then moved their membership to Plantersville Grove both was under leader-ship of Pastor Robert E. Murphy, Sr. She was in the choir,
usher, youth teacher, and Deaconess. She started working at an early age with her grandma Mattie Lou Morris Stoudemire as a clean up personnel at different homes and
businesses then she baby sat until she joined clubs/organizations in school such as Peer Helpers, Band, Science Club, FBLA and maintained on honor roll when she
graduated from Bibb County High School in 1999. She attended Stillman College and worked as a dishwasher at Wallace Army Barn Restaurant then McDonalds. She got her
Child Development Associate certificate from UA while working at Head Start (esp.) for 11 years then went back to college until her mother's health failed. She worked at
Cahaba Christian Academy/Daycare for 11 years while taking care of her mom and grandma until their deaths and her health failed. She stayed there being strong until she started chemo for
Stage 4 metastatic colon cancer that spread to her liver. She truly endured to the end because she was already strong battling endometriosis.
We will forever remember her for strength, being quiet, silly person who loved God, Family, and Friends. She was the only child who married in a huge family of Judge's 19
siblings, and she claimed many people as her sisters and brothers and mom and dad figures plus many friends especially at Grandview Hospital/ Cancer Center.
She is known for quotes "If you don't know my story don't Hate on my Glory" and "She is cuckoo for cocoa puffs". She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband Deacon
Judge Murphy, sons, grandchildren, stepchildren/grands/dad; Grand aunts: Jewel, Mary, Rosie Morris, Elnora J. Stoudemire; Grand uncle, Jimmy Morris; In-laws: Grace
(Rev. Kenneth) Scott, Clara, Gladys Spencer, Denise Hunt, Keonna Murphy, Mina Murphy Stacy, Raymond (WillieAnn), Christopher, Peter, Anthony, and Tyrone.
