Laura Ann Wade Bonin, beloved wife, mother, homemaker, and dedicated member of the Nederland and Southeast Texas Community, passed away on June 10, 2024, in Beauxart Gardens, Texas. She was born on January 21, 1968, in Port Arthur, Texas to Laurence Waco Wade and Geraldine O'Quinn Wade.
Laura's life will be celebrated during visitation services on June 17, 2024, at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home at 1605 Avenue H in Nederland from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. She was a proud graduate of Nederland High School, where she served as a member of the Westernaires Drill Team; a graduate of Lamar Port Arthur; and a devout Christian who maintained a close connection with friends and family throughout the area.
The funeral service in honor of Laura will be held on June 18, 2024, also at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home at 1605 Avenue H in Nederland. The service will commence at 2:00 PM with burial following at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Both events will provide an opportunity for all who knew Laura to pay their respects and cherish the memories shared with her.
In addition to her many accomplishments in life, Laura leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Ronald Anthony "Ron" Bonin Jr., her son Ronald Anthony "Tony" Bonin III, as well as her brother, Dwain McDonald and his wife Baby McDonald, and several nieces and nephews.
Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Laurence Waco Wade and Geraldine O'Quinn Wade and her brother, Dewey Joe McDonald, Jr.
Known for her warm heart and unwavering dedication to her family, Laura will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kindness, love for family, and commitment to creating a loving home will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.
May she rest in peace knowing she was cherished by many and that her memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
