Laura Lynn Cunningham

Mrs. Laura Cunningham, age 42, of Rockfield, KY, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 4:36 AM at the Medical Center of Bowling Green, KY.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at 11:00 AM with interment to follow in Whites Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Drake, KY.

Laura was born on June 11, 1982 in Bowling Green, KY to Richard Guffy, who survives and the late Penny (Waters) Harris. She is also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Billy and Hazel Waters.

She is survived by two children, Ava Cunningham and Connor Cunningham of Rockfield, KY; her father, Richard Guffy (Patricia) of Rockfield, KY; step-father, Roger Harris of Rockfield, KY; two brothers, Corey Harris of Smiths Grove, KY and Tyler Fields (Shawna) of Bowling Green, KY; paternal grandparents, Gene and Adeline Guffy of Woodburn, KY; two aunts, Teresa Eades (Tim) of Woodburn, KY and Sandra Miller (Jerry) of Auburn, KY; cousins, Emily Cardwell (Michael) of Rockfield, KY and Cortney Travelstead (Sam) of Franklin, KY; second cousins, Meadow Cardwell, Wylder Cardwell and Miles Travelstead; and several other cousins.

Laura was a 2000 graduate of Warren Central High School. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Franklin, KY. Laura was self-employed and ran her own business, "Laura Cunningham Cleaning Services". She enjoyed going to yard sales and thrifting. Laura loved her two beautiful children beyond measure, everything she did was for them. She loved watching her children play their sports and was their biggest fan. She had the most caring heart, countless times she has taken food or clothes to people she came across that were in need. She was a true blessing to all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to a fund that has been set up for Laura's children. Donations should be made payable to "Richard Guffy". Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home and donations can be dropped off at the funeral home.
