It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Laura DeLaCerda, who left us peacefully on February 26, 2025. Born on June 4, 1982, in Lubbock, Texas, Laura was the cherished daughter of Jose and Rosa DeLaCerda. She grew up surrounded by the warmth of family and community, and was a proud graduate of Lubbock High School, Class of 2000.
Laura devoted her professional life to telemarketing at AT&T, where she was known for her tenacious spirit and dedication to her work. Beyond her career, Laura was a vibrant presence in her community, attending the Dream Center Church where she fostered connections that enriched her life and the lives of those around her.
She is survived by her beloved children, Alexandra, Amelia, Abygayle, Jesse Jr., Gilberto, and Arriana Martinez, who will carry her legacy of love and strength forward. Laura also leaves behind her siblings: Jose H., Jose M., Ignacio, Sergio, Veronica, and Margarita DeLaCerda. Her family will forever remember her nurturing spirit and unwavering support. Laura DeLaCerda will be deeply missed, but her spirit will remain alive in the love she shared and the memories she created. May she rest in peace.
