Laura "Faye" Jackson was born on June 8, 1929, in Mt Pleasant, TX, to Mary and Alba Mitchell. She was received into heaven July 29, 2025, after living a long and fulfilling life.
Faye was a retired hair dresser, a wonderful cook and a devoted longtime member of the Church of Christ in La Grange.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, JD, and three sons, Larry, Kenneth and John Jackson as well as four siblings, Jo, Ruby, Floy and AG.
Faye is survived by her sons, Joe and wife Nancy of Lake Ivie, TX, Jim and wife Pat of La Grange, TX, and sister, Ruth Moore of San Angelo, TX. She is also survived by grandchildren, Mike and Bob Reilly of Fond du Lac, WI; Danny Jackson of Big Lake, TX; Joey Jackson of Lake Ivie, TX; Stephanie Roberts Denton of Sugar Land, TX; Michael McEntire of Ballinger, TX.; bonus grandchildren Katherine Faye Reilly McCardle and Conor Reilly of Fond du Lac, WI, as well as numerous great grandchildren.
The family expresses their gratitude to the caring staff of Monument Hill Nursing Facility and JOL Hospice Care.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Koenig-Belvill Funeral Home & Cremations of La Grange with family present at this time to receive friends. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. A private graveside service will follow the chapel service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Church of Christ, P.O. Box 523, La Grange, TX 78945.
