Laura Littlefield

Laura "Larri" Ann (Dugan) Littlefield, 79, of Wilson, OK was called home to eternal glory in the early morning hours of Monday, November 10, 2025 after a valiant three-year battle with recurrent breast cancer.

Larri was born in Stuart, OK on July 20, 1946. She was a graduate of McAlester High School in 1964 . On December 10, 1966, she married her one true love, George Allen Littlefield, Jr. in Perryville, AR where together they began their 54 years of marriage, moving to Kansas in 1971, and then settling in Wilson, OK in 1984. 

She is survived by her sons, Scott (Kristin) Littlefield of Marietta and Matt (Kristi) Littlefield of Wilson; grandchildren, Casey (Amanda) Littlefield of Wilson, Barrett Littlefield of OKC, Patrick Littlefield of Marietta, and Chye "Ducky" Littlefield (Wyatt Schmitz, fiancé) of Fairview; great grandchildren, Bryar Littlefield, Dawson Littlefield, and Anna Ruth Littlefield, all of Wilson, and two more great grandchildren on the way; siblings Dale Trotter of Perryville, AR, Opal Roberts of Perryville, AR, Buddy (Sandy) Dugan of Blocker, OK, Ben (Shelly) Dugan of Perryville, AR, Linda (Eddie) Jarrett of McAlester, OK, Donna (Terry) Lenox of McAlester, OK, Dianne (Randell) Reeder of Stuart, OK, Geri (Randy) Clifton of Crowder, OK, siblings in law, Mary Betty (Junior) Mayfield of Landrum, SC, Marty (Mindy) Littlefield of Landrum, SC, Candace (Harold) Burns of Landrum, SC, and many, many cherished nieces and nephews; most cherished friends, Sandi Gardner of Wilson, Gina Stopher of Marietta, the Monte Dean Family of Shawnee, and her Rexroat Baptist Church family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Allen Littlefield, Jr. in April 2021, her parents, Loyd and Ina Dugan; brother H. Lee Dugan; brothers in law, Jim Trotter and Bill Roberts; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Laura Jean and Cecil Becknell; niece Tammy; and nephews Randy Roberts and Buddy Wade Dugan.

Following graduation, Larri moved to Arkansas and worked for the Timex Corporation. Then came George! Given that he was in the horse business and traveled extensively, she became the gatekeeper, homemaker, bookkeeper, message taker, and boss lady of Littlefield Quarter Horses and was referred to as Wildflower by those in their inner circle. After moving to Oklahoma, Larri worked at Carter County Treasurer's office, Carter County Assessor's office, and later retired from Noble Energy. She was a longtime active member of Rexroat Baptist Church, where she served as a choir member, youth leader, Sunday school teacher, Falls Creek sponsor, church secretary, and hospitality coordinator. She was warm and welcoming to anyone who entered the doors of the Church.

Larri was beautiful, humorous, loved to laugh, and was generous with her time and talents. Her faith was her foundation, and she loved sharing how Jesus changed her life after attending a Billy Graham Crusade in Little Rock. She was dependable, never hesitated to drop what she was doing to help anyone in need, enjoyed cooking, was the best travel companion, she loved to talk, and sing gospel music. At home or in town, she was always perfectly coifed and most likely wearing something bright orange, her favorite color. A prolific teller of tales, she never let facts get in the way of a good story! Her strength and faith, especially in the last few weeks are to be admired. Spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren was her greatest joy in life.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Rexroat Baptist Church, Wilson, with Bro. Monte Dean officiating. A graveside service for family and close friends will be at Bomar Point Cemetery prior to her celebration of life service. We encourage anyone attending her service to wear something orange in her honor. Visitation will be held at Alexander Gray Funeral Home, Wilson, from 5:00-7:00 PM on Friday, November 14, 2025. 

Casey Littlefield, Barrett Littlefield, Patrick Littlefield, Bryar Littlefield, Ben David Dugan, Corrie Reeder, and Wyatt Schmitz will serve as Pallbearers.

We, her children would like to extend a special thank you to Mom's sisters and cherished friend, Sandi, who helped take care of her and kept her laughing until the very end.
