Laura P. Mega, 81, of Kittery, Maine, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025, in Saco.
Born in Masardis on November 13, 1944, to Harry and Marion (Sylvester) Martin, Laura grew up surrounded by her four brothers and graduated from Ashland Community High School in 1962.
On May 6, 1978, she married the love of her life, Kenneth Mega in Ashland Maine. Together they built a home filled with devotion and joy, raising three sons and sharing 47 years of marriage.
A lifelong Mainer, Laura cherished her roots in Aroostook County and later to Kittery in Southern Maine. Her greatest happiness came from caring for her family, especially her beloved grandchildren, whom she delighted in spoiling with gifts, meals, and endless affection. Simply being with her loved ones brought her profound joy.
Laura's warmth, generosity, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was predeceased by her brothers Peter and Guy Martin. She is survived by her husband Kenneth; her sons Todd Martin, Timothy Mega and wife Katie, and James Mega and wife Jenny Griesel; her brothers Sam and Don Martin; and her grandchildren Madilyn and Benjamin Mega.

Am very saddened to learn of Laura´s passing. I got to know Laura when she and Ken lived at Meetinghouse village a few doors down from my mother. Such wonderful folks.
