Laura was born on March 8, 1946, the daughter of the late Michael S. and Ann (nee Imarata) Micalizzi. Laura attended 2 years of college studying interior design. Laura was co-owner of Cozy Decorators on Williamsbridge Road in the Bronx from 1965 until it closed in 2019. Laura is survived by her siblings Carol (Joseph) Mastro and Michael (Carrie) Micalizzi. She is the beloved aunt of Theresa (Dennis) Dowd, Joann (Brian) Anderson and Charles (Jaime) Mastro and the great-aunt of Patrick Reilly, Carolanne Dowd, William & James Anderson and Isabella & Arya Mastro.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday May 12, 2023, 10 AM at Holy Rosary Church (Bronx) with inurnment following at Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will be present on Thursday from 4-7 PM at Ruggiero & Sons, Inc. Funeral Home – 732 Yonkers Avenue – Yonkers, NY 10704 (914) 375-1400 – www.frswfh.com.
