Laura Veronica Rodriguez, a vibrant soul whose laughter and passion for life were as radiant as the Texas sun, was called home to the Lord on August 2, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family in her native San Antonio. Born on July 14, 1989, Laura's journey was one of joy, creativity, and unwavering faith.
As a proud graduate of the Ogle School of Hair, Skin and Nails, Laura channeled her artistic spirit into a fulfilling career as a hair stylist. She not only transformed her client's hair but also uplifted hearts with her infectious humor and warm presence. Her clients became an extended family, drawn together by Laura's genuine care and her knack for turning every appointment into an impromptu comedy show.
Laura's Christian faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her through every challenge with grace and wit. She often joked that "Even on my worst days, I'm killing it." Laura lived by this motto, facing her battle with cervical cancer with the same courage and humor that defined her life.
Family was everything to Laura. She was a beacon of love and strength for her daughters, Kayla and Kylie Sabater, whom she cherished above all. With her spouse, Brian Cash, Laura shared a love that was both a sanctuary and an adventure. Her parents, Linda Guzman and Raul Rodriguez, along with her brother, Robert Guzman, and a close-knit circle of cousins, were integral to her story, sharing in her joys, her dreams, and her love for Christ.
Laura's adventurous spirit led her to explore the world with her family, creating memories on vacations that will be treasured forever. Her dedication to health and fitness was not only a personal passion but also a way to inspire others, often quipping, "I don't sweat, I sparkle." This zest for life was evident in her commitment to her career and her enjoyment of every moment spent with loved ones.
Those who knew Laura will remember her as a woman who lived passionately, loved deeply, and laughed often. Her legacy is one of unwavering love, infectious joy, and a faith that could move mountains-or at least, make them a little less daunting with a good joke. Laura's life was a testament to the beauty of embracing each day with an open heart and a smile, secure in the knowledge that love is the greatest adventure of all.
We celebrate Laura Veronica Rodriguez, a woman whose life was a beautiful melody of laughter, love, and faith. Her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
