Laura Kathleen Syron passed away suddenly on September 29, 2025. Laura and her twin were born January 19, 1995 in a rural area of Siberia. She spent the first two years of her life in a baby hospital in Chita, Russia. In July 1997, Laura was adopted by Connie and Thomas Syron and moved to Dublin, Ohio. She overcame malnutrition and physical obstacles, and thrived during childhood. Laura was fiercely devoted to her children, her church, her community, and her work as a pharmacy technician. She brought energy, passion, love and encouragement to all those she met. Laura was a loving mother to her children, Leighton and Lorraine. She volunteered as a Cub Scout leader and with the Children's Ministry at Worthington Presbyterian Church. Laura will be dearly missed by her two children, Leighton and Lorraine, her parents Thomas and Connie Syron, her twin Mark Syron, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Worthington Presbyterian Church, 773 High Street, Worthington. Visiting hours will be from 10:00 to 11:45 a.m. and the service will begin at 12:00. Private interment at the church columbarium. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Scouting America, Simon Kenton Council, 807 Kinnear Road, Columbus, or Worthington Presbyterian Church.
