Laura Trillo was called home by the Lord Sunday May 11, 2025. A Mother's Day that will not ever be forgotten. She succumbed to her battle with dementia, surrounded in her home with her husband, all her children and as many grandchildren that could be present. She was born in Guadalajara, Mexico June 4, 1941. She immigrated to the United States when she was a young girl, living with her aunt and uncle. She fondly remembered becoming a U.S. citizen as a high point in her life. Laura married Dan Trillo on February 18, 1967. Laura's children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her life. Her love of meeting and talking to people was her specialty. Being in the restaurant business she met many, and to this day thought of the countless patrons and coworkers as family. She loved watching football on Sundays, with her son, husband and grandson. She was fortunate to see her Philadelphia Eagles win another Super Bowl, before her disease robbed her of everyday life. Laura is survived by her loving husband Dan, daughters Anna, Dana (Monte), Andrea, and son Jeff (Lindsy). Grandchildren Justin (Mika), Sasha (Richard), Jessica (Jordan), Krystal (Phillip), Deja, Averie (Dalton) and Cole. Great grandchildren, Kolson, Kodi, Bristol, Emberlyn, and Koast. Remembrance of life will be Friday May 16 at 10:00am at Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home & Crematory. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to Gentiva, our hospice provider. As a family our goal was to keep mom home and let her pass comfortably. We could not have achieved this without the wonderful support of Gentiva and her care providers there. Laura was preceded in death by her sister-in-law Becky Majher, whom she loved as a true sister.
