Laurel Patricia Larsen Beck returned peacefully to her heavenly home on May 1st, 2025 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was surrounded by family at her time of passing and will be deeply missed.
Born on November 11, 1948, to Guy Edward Larsen and Lorna Young McCullough Larsen, she was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She lived a life full of love, generosity, and kindness and always saw the bright side in any situation. She spent nearly thirty years working at Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful as the volunteer coordinator and blessed countless lives with her work there. She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis; her children: Stefanie (Paul), Jon (Laura), and Jordan (Stefanie); and her grandchildren: Cassandra (Jacob), Elyssa, and Zac; and one great-grandson, Lorenzo. She is also survived by her sisters Susan and Julie.
Services will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Road Layton, Utah. Friends may visit family Saturday May 10, 2025 from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. at the Paradise Utah Cemetery. All are welcome to remember and celebrate the life and legacy of this remarkable woman.
