Laurena's Obituary
Laurena Mary Maxa, age 82, of Belair, MD passed away on November 24, 2024. She was the devoted wife of the late Charles Joseph Maxa, Sr.; devoted mother of Mary Jo Brocato and her husband Michael, Charles Joseph Maxa, Jr. and his wife Heidi, Sandra Renee Maxa and her significant other Michael James, and the late Suzanne Marie Maxa. She is survived by her cherished grandchildren Joseph, Matthew, Julianna, and Kirsten Maxa. She was the dear sister of Colleen Karcher and her husband the late Henry Karcher, and dear sister of the late Harriet Reid and her husband the late John Reid. She was the beloved Aunt of her Godson Michael Reid and his wife Heather, and the late Jason Reid. She is survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Margaret Church, 141 N. Hickory Avenue, Bel Air, MD 21014, on Friday, November 29th, at 10 AM. Interment private.
