Master Sargent Laurence Harold Stephens, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at the age of 91. He was born on December 26, 1934, in Yankton, South Dakota, to Harold Joseph Stephens and Evelyn Bernice Stephens. He served honorably in the US Army for 23 years. He is survived by his wife, Cristine, his son, Larry, 3 stepchildren, 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Laurence enjoyed hunting, fishing, leather working, wood carving, and traveling. He was an active member of his local church. His funeral will be held Monday, June 16th at 2pm at the Bluff View Cemetery in Vermillion, South Dakota with full military honors.
