Alpine Memorial Funeral HomeLaurencio Hernandez Adame, 90, of Fort Davis, Texas passed away on August 16, 2025. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Fort Davis, Texas.
Laurencio known as “Lencho” by everyone was born on November 7, 1934, in Boquilla de San Isidro, Chihuahua, Mexico.
Lencho is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Adame; father, Manuel Adame; mother, Reyes Hernandez Adame; stepmother, Ernestina Adame; sisters, Sofia, Elfida, and Irene; and brothers, Ruben and Apolinar.
Lencho is survived by his sons Laurencio G. Adame and wife Molly of Montgomery Texas; Alonso Adame of Alpine, Texas; granddaughter Catalina Adame-Adesokan and husband Miguel; grandson Alec Adame of San Angelo, Texas; brother Hector Adame of Borger, Texas; sisters Alicia Hernandez, Graciela Marquez, Basilisa Valeriano, Velia Leyva and special family members Janie and Amanda Jimenez.
Lencho came to this country to work as a vaquero through the Bracero program. Lencho worked for more than fifty years on the Espy ranch in wool and mohair operation. Lencho later worked for the McKnight Ranch.
