Catarino "Cat" Adame III

Catarino "Cat" Adame, III, 54 of Plainview, Texas passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2025 surrounded by his family. A viewing will be held at 5:00pm until 8:00pm, with a prayer service at 6:00pm on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Funeral service for Mr. Adame will be at 9:00am, Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Lemons Memorial Chapel officiate by Pastor Joe Silvas of Kress. Burial will follow in Kress Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview.

Cat was born on October 4, 1970, in Harlingen, Texas to Catarino Adame, Jr. and Olga (Hernandez) Adame. He graduated from Kress High School and was a member of Mission Bautista El Calvario in Kress where he recently was baptized.

Cat loved to listen to Tejano music and was a dedicated fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He was an outdoors person who cherished spending time with his family. Cat had a generous heart and found joy in helping others. He was a good brother to his siblings and an awesome uncle.

Cat is preceded in death by his father, Catarino Adame, Jr., and his brother, Eddie Adame.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his son, Catarino Andrew Adame, and his daughter, Brenda Ybarra and husband Matt all of Plainview; his mother, Olga Adame of Kress; one brother, Armando Adame of Kress, and one sister, Irene Adame of Kress; five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
