Norman Nunley, born on January 3, 1961, in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025, in Alpine, Texas. He was a gentle soul, dedicated to his family and deeply passionate about the natural world around him.

Throughout his life, Norman displayed a remarkable work ethic and a diverse range of interests that enriched his journey. He began his career as a groundskeeper while attending classes in Biology, nurturing his profound love for the environment. His professional journey led him to a role in sales for Morrison True Value and Jarratt's Building Supply, where he connected with many in the community through his friendly demeanor. He also worked river tours in Big Bend National Park, sharing his expansive knowledge of nature with visitors and instilling in them a sense of wonder for the landscapes around them.

In addition to his various jobs, Norman achieved his dream of owning a small family business, which he wholeheartedly devoted himself to, ensuring it became a cherished part of his family’s legacy. An avid herpetologist, he had a fascination for reptiles and amphibians, reflecting his deep appreciation for all creatures great and small. In his spare time, Norman found joy in gardening and cultivating his beloved tree orchards, always eager to share the fruits of his labor with family and friends.

Norman was an adored husband to Donna Nunley, who stood by him through life's ups and downs. He was a dedicated father, deeply loved by his daughters, Jaclyn and Jaicey, and his son, Jacob. His family was the heart of his world, and he took utmost pride in watching them grow, supporting them in all their endeavors.

He is survived by his loving mother, Marge Nunley, who cherished him beyond words, and his dear sisters, Janet Cornett and Rebecca Davis, who shared countless memories with him throughout their lives. Norman's family also carries the beautiful memories of his late father, Norman Nunley, and his brother, John Nunley, both of whom left a lasting impact on him.

As we remember Norman Nunley, we celebrate a life that was richly lived, filled with passion for nature, devotion to family, and an unwavering kindness that touched everyone around him. His gentle spirit, laughter, and love will forever remain in the hearts of all who were privileged to know him.
