Laurie Ann Free "Freebie", age 63, died peacefully at home in her sleep during this past holiday season.
Laurie was born December 11, 1961 to Lloyd and Geraldine (Stenzel) Free. She currently resided in New Holstein, WI. Laurie was a 1980 graduate of Reedsville High School. She enjoyed shooting pool and darts, and had a love for baseball. She was a friend to all she met and would help anyone in need, especially through her love of cooking.
Laurie's immediate family includes: sister, Kathy (Tom) Muench and their children: Michelle (Dan) Zinkel-Gruman, Melissa (Jeremiah) Schwabenlander, and Christopher (Wendy) Zinkel; brother, Randy (Shirley) Free and their children: Jennifer (John) Hegner, Jessica (Aaron) Moskow, Michael (Alicia) Free, and Nicole (James) Zortman; Heavenly sister, Sue (Doug) Behnke and their daughters: Jodi Behnke and Stacey Behnke (special friend, Shane); brother, Scott (Julianne) Free and their daughter Samantha (Cesar) Abreu and heavenly son, Jordan Free; sister, Melodie Free and her son, Trevor (Heather) Hansen and heavenly son, Colin Hansen; sister, Kellie (Steve) Webster and their children: Kiya (Tyler) Streetman, Kaitlin (Jeff) Beresford, and Austin Webster (special friend, Robert); brother, Jameson (Alicia) Free and their children: Cassidy, Camden, Leyna and Lincoln; and brother, Jonathon (Katie) Free and their children: Jackson and Theodore.
Laurie is also survived by many great nieces and nephews, other relatives, as well as her very large circle of friends.
She was preceded in death by twin daughters: Peggy Sue and Patty Karen; her parents; her maternal and paternal grandparents; several aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of Laurie's life which will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at the Amvets Post 99 in Manitowoc, WI from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m.
