Laurie Ann Spellious, 50, of Sparland Illinois, died on October 15, 2023 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Born on April 4 1973 to Leland and Sharon (Hofer) Stowe, she married Scott Spellious on July 2, 1995 in Las Vegas. He survives.
Laurie worked at Henry foods for over 20 years, starting as a cashier and working her way through managing the produce and deli departments. She worked for Hosler Roofing right next to the guys on the roofs. For the last six years, her and her husband, have owned and operated Hosler Roofing. she also cleaned houses for people throughout those years. Most important, she was Scott’s friend, partner, and wife.
Laurie is survived by her husband Scott at Home; mother Sharon Koehler of Henry; son Jordan (Sophie) Spellious of Sparland; daughter Larissa (Eli Lishman) Spellious of Lacon; Sister Paula (Ed Karls) Lamb of Henry; brother Doug (Steph) Stowe of Henry; and grandchildren Blayne, Jaxson, Lenox, and Riley. She was preceded in death by her father Leland, father-in-law Stan Spellious; stepfather Gary Koehler; and aunt & uncle, Leona & Bill Buser.
