Laurie Murphy Vickery

Pawley's Island, SC- Private Memorial Services for Laurie Murphy Wellband Vickery, 65, who entered into rest October 26, 2025, will be conducted at a later date.
Laurie was born November 9, 1959, in Augusta, GA to Don and Gail Case Murphy. She was a native of the Augusta and North Augusta areas and had lived in Munich, Germany while her father was deployed there with the military. After her marriage to her husband, Jeff Vickery, they made Pawley's Island their home for the past 20 years. Laurie had recently begun a career as an Inside Sales Representative with Red One Medical. She enjoyed being in nature, especially gardening and bird watching and spending time with her family. Laurie is preceded in death by her father, Don Murphy and a nephew, Christopher Murphy.
Surviving members of the family left to cherish her memory include her husband, Jeff Vickery; a son, Jason Wellband; her mother, Gail Case Murphy; two sisters, Jayne (John) Bearden and Susan Murphy; a brother, Pat (Angela) Murphy and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
