Born January 31, 1953 in Chattanooga, TN, she was the daughter of the late James Vernon Dunn and the late Mildred Ruth Tincher.
Laurie was of the Pentecostal Faith and was a former employee with Waffle House.
Family members include her daughters, Penny Marsingill (J.C.), Jammie Amerson (Travis), and Alexis Young (David Browning); grandchildren, Heather McDaniel (James), Jessica Hooks (Jonathan), Madalynn Shelton, and Christopher Shelton; step-son, Joshua Young; brother, Jackie Ray Dunn; and 15 great-grandchildren.
