Laurine Beverly Woxland, 100 of Rushford, died Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Bremmer Suites
Laurine was born November 19, 1923 on Oak Ridge in Houston, Minnesota to Henry and Clarice (Olson) Larson. She graduated from Houston High School. On October 4, 1942, she married Donald Woxland in Houston. Laurine worked for 10 years at Camera Art in Lewiston. She was a member of Rushford Lutheran Church.
Laurine enjoyed golfing and playing bridge as well as reading and BINGO throughout the years.
She is survived by her two children, Stephen (Kathleen) Woxland and RoxAnne (George) Scott; grandchildren, Matthew (Brandon) Vaagsland and Kelly (Saul) Wainwright; great-grandchildren, Leiv, Kasper & Karsten Vaagsland and Eyala & Ezra Wainwright; two sisters-in-law, Lois Larson and Donna Larson as well as her caregiver and friend these last several years, Nikki Bunke and her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald in 2019; parents; two brothers, LeRoy and Verdale Larson and sister, Harriet Millie.
Funeral Service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Rushford Lutheran Church with the Reverend Steve Chellew officiating. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Wednesday at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service – Rushford, and one hour prior to the service at church. She will be laid to rest at Rushford Lutheran Cemetery.
