LaVonne Anne (Linde) McPhee, 82, of Shevlin, Minnesota died on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at Essentia Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota.

Services will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cease Family Funeral Home in Bagley, Minnesota with a visitation one hour prior. A visitation will also be held the evening prior on Friday, September 19, 2025 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery in Shevlin, Minnesota. The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley assisted the family with arrangements.

LaVonne was born on August 23, 1943 in Winger, Minnesota to Morris and Pearl (Hoynes) Linde. She graduated from Bagley High School in 1961. She married Larry Hanson and together they had six boys. In 1984, LaVonne married Tony McPhee and together they doubled the size of their family, making it an even dozen children. The family eventually grew to include 28 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Tony and LaVonne shared many interests. They enjoyed traveling and visited 49 states together. In 1994, LaVonne and Tony established their own trucking business, The McPhee Interstate Express when they purchased their own truck and hauled Polaris snowmobiles all over the USA. LaVonne worked with her parents at their family-owned Linde's Greenhouse for many years as well as their Food Stand at the Clearwater County Fair for over forty years. Her last job was working in the office at EvenAire Systems and for Dudley Township.

LaVonne is survived by her children, Marlin (Laurie) Hanson, Jeff Hanson, Kevin Hanson, Keith Hanson, Scott (Heidi) Hanson, Steven (Stephanie) Hanson, Teresa (Marco) Unruh, Barbara (Fred) Lacina, Jane (Mike) Woods, and Scott (Amy) McPhee; and many other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony McPhee; her parents, Morris and Pearl Linde; her grandparents; her siblings; a daughter-in-law, Lynette Hanson; a granddaughter; and a few great great grandchildren.
